FIrst shipment in late 2018 immediately sold out in Japan, for good reason. I have been using the BL (Barbless version) size 8/0 on the bigger lures (Blaze 160g stick, Kimitsu 170g, bigger Amegari etc) throughout the 2019 season and by far the best treble in terms of sharpness, strength, fish retention - head and shoulders above the rest in my opinion. As mentioned need to check weight against other popular brands (the most common sizes will be Decoy 6/0 which is more like Owner/GTR 5/0) and Decoy 7/0 which is more like GTR 6/0). Hopefully BL version stocked soon!

Decoy YS-23 Big Treble
Decoy mega GT & Monster tuna size treble! The “Y-S23 BIG” is an improved version of the old model treble hook “SALT WATER BIG & GT SPECIAL”. Compatible with all large fish such as GT, dogtooth, amberjack and tuna. Big treble with heavy wire that is designed to be extra strong. A curve point shape with good power conduction and the long taper realize surprisingly smooth insertion, great strength and also helps protect from lure damage and accidentally fouling. As the name suggests, it is the strongest treble with no blind spots attached to a reliable lure to get the big one!
● Uses a unique curve point that minimizes lure damage, enhances holding power, and suppresses burr.
● Uses a smart eye that makes it easy to pass the heavy ring without opening it more than necessary and reduces the opening that causes strength deterioration as much as possible.
● Adopts a heavy wire that can withstand monster-sized targets.
● Uses highly corrosion-resistant tin plating and aqua block treatment to prevent rust.

When comparing with Gamakatsu GT Recorder, allow one size larger. ie. Decoy YS-23 7/0 is very close to Gamakatsu GT Recorder 6/0
