Description

Gutt Buttz – Large Soft Gimbal

The Gutt Buttz Large is a soft, push-on fighting gimbal designed to improve comfort, stability, and control when fighting powerful fish. Manufactured from a durable yet flexible EVA compound, it slides securely over the rod butt to create a non-slip, body-friendly contact point during stand-up fishing.

Unlike hard plastic or alloy gimbals, Gutt Buttz reduce pressure points and bruising against the body or fighting belt while still helping keep the rod butt planted and stable under load. The smooth, contoured shape allows natural movement during long fights without digging in — ideal for anglers who value comfort without compromising leverage.

Perfect for tuna, yellowtail kingfish, marlin, sharks, and other hard-fighting species when you don’t need to go for a full on fighting belt or gimbal. Gutt Buttz are an easy solution for anglers wanting a removable, non-permanent solution.
