Will punch any lure in its rated range an absolute mile! Pleasure to work all day with very little effort on the angler and same while fighting fish! Puts hurt on them and not on your back! Great rod!

How far would you like to cast??? This rod has got to be up there with the longest casting blank for its weight range I have seen. Perfect for hanging off reef edges or dangerous surf breaks so you can get the lures right in where you want them while you remain safe. Like all howk rods has a lot more stopping and lifting power down low than you would expect.

A top quality work of art. Cast and fished with plenty of top of the range big brand name rods. My Howk 170 Bullfighter feels better and casts better than them all hands down. Light enough tip in the tip to work stickbaits and poppers well and that low down power to fight big fish without too much hurt on the angler.
