Megabass Anthrax 100
Anthrax 100 Swim vids below!
Megabass Anthrax 100 topwater wakebait lure swims with a splash and roll to mimic a wounded baitfish.
Basically, Anthrax rolls upside down, on or just under the surface. Twitch it, pop and splash it, burn & kill it… and HANG ON! One of the most unconventional baits in the Megabass range. Can be fished as a surface bait or an ultra shallow running jerk/twitch bait.
Anthrax swims with its belly up and the large fin hits the water surface if exposed and scrambles the water when twitched subsurface. The internal design ROLLER GYRO BALACER SYSTEM (PAT.P) delivers enough torque for the fin to overpower the water resistance.
When retrieved, the 105mm Anthrax creates a boiling action of panicked baitfish with a twitch. The Gyro ball moving along the roller shaft produces a clicking sound and creates an extraordinary super rolling action. A slow retrieve produces a super rolling action on the water’s surface, with its abdominal fins (anal fins) tailing left and right to push through the water current and create a unique triangular wave. Increased retrieve speed transforms it into a subsurface shad, rolling and swimming about 10-20 cm below the surface. A slapping jerk creates the splashing and bubbling effects of a boil bait on the surface. A stop-and-go action recreates the fluttering and rising behaviour of a panic bait after a dive.
Experience the Anthrax’s unique fishing power with its diverse actions and dynamic performance in the field.
Anthrax 100 is the bigger version of the 83mm long Anthrax, and appeals to barramundi, cod, bass, estuary perch, flathead, huge bream, saratoga and more. The Anthrax 100, which incorporated a revolutionary mechanism that continues to this day and opened up new ground as a surface lure, is an indispensable presence when talking about Megabass surface baits.
