Megabass Anthrax
Megabass Anthrax topwater lure swims with a splash and roll. Basically, Anthrax rolls upside down, like a wounded baitfish on the surface. Twitch it, pop and splash it, burn & kill it… and HANG ON! One of the most unconventional baits in the Megabass range. Can be fished as a surface bait or an ultra shallow running jerk/twitch bait.
Anthrax swims with its belly up and the large fin hits the water surface if exposed and scrambles the water when twitched subsurface. The internal design ROLLER GYRO BALACER SYSTEM (PAT.P) delivers enough torque for the fin to overpower the water resistance.
When retrieved, the 83mm Anthrax creates a boiling action of panicked baitfish with a twitch. The Gyro ball moving along the roller shaft produces a clicking sound and creates an extraordinary super rolling action. At this time, the fins protruding above the water surface tail left and right, pushing through the water current, and the unique triangular waves create a synergistic effect that appeals to bass, estuary perch, flathead, huge bream, saratoga and more. The Anthrax, which incorporated a revolutionary mechanism that continues to this day and opened up new ground as a surface lure, is an indispensable presence when talking about Megabass surface baits.

Been using these for a while but they stopped being available in Australia. Stoked you guys have some such a versatile lure can use as a surface lure tweaking it slow rolled or occasionally stopping when retrieving great lure 👍
I absolutely love the Anthrax for any topwater predators in our estuaries. They cast a mile, have a super enticing action and the hardware on the lure is strong enough for large bass, Estuary Perch and XL Bream when you need to fish heavier leaders in tight structure. The unique knocking rattle really fires up active feeding fish. The visual strikes on this lure are simply unreal! This is one bait for any finesse topwater addict!
