Megabass Magslowl 9″ Swimbait
Built for dead-slow retrieves and big predatory fish, the Megabass Magslowl 9” is a large soft swimbait ideally suited to Murray Cod, barramundi and mulloway.
Unlike the harder-kicking Magdraft, the Magslowl is designed to swim effectively at extremely slow speeds. Its thin body and tapered tail produce a subtle, natural swimming action with minimal head movement – ideal when fish are lethargic, pressured or unwilling to chase a faster-moving lure. Megabass specifically developed the Magslowl as the slower, more subtle counterpart to the Magdraft.
The nose-down swimming attitude helps the lure work around structure, while the Megabass Maghold magnetic hook system holds the treble against the body until a fish strikes. The long Megabass Slowl Feather Hook adds further movement and attraction at slow speed.

The beauty of the Megabass Magslowl is the time spent in the “Strike Zone” with shut down fish, it enables the angler to get right in their faces and just flaunt with the big green beastie, I like to count it down to depth, start the retrieve with a slight lift and slow roll the bait back, there will always be slight pause midway and then continue the roll back. Most of my strikes on this lure have been on the pause or the restart, thrown on a rod that can handle the weight but light enough to feel every kick of its subtle tail, awesome lure and will always have one tied on ready, this is my favourite soft swimbait for cod.

Great product works extremely well although we target big Barra with them they only last a few fish, but that’s ok they get the bites
This is just a sexy lure and I've thrown it a lot just because once you've seen it swim you get great confidence in it. Castable, swims well with chin weights and having the hook set in the belly via the magnet will help prevent snagging.
