Howk Gibrock Tuna MH rod is the new rod to target big Tuna on small lures & heavy braid! A rod developed and designed together with Howk ambassador Jamie Triay, one of the world’s best and a pioneer of tuna casting. This Gibrock Tuna Rod was developed for anglers targeting tuna between 20 and 100 kg.

A rod that we are blown away with at Ebb Tide, this has the tip action to cast small lures, with huge low end power to muscle fish and not have you stuck in a long fight and it’s still enjoyable to use! The Gibrock Tuna MH transitions so nicely it casts huge distance and really does everything.

The rod features a large guide train of Fuji SiC K Frame anti tangle guides, and will handle thick heavy leaders often used for big tuna. Rated as PE 6-8 and has a great stickbait taper.
This is an exceptional rod and will also be great for big Kingfish, reef flats fishing with small lures and GTs and anywhere you need to muscle fish that would normally own you into the reef!
