Absolutely love this rod. Been using it for around 6 months now and absolutely love it. The 150 is super versatile, I’ve handled everything from nannygai and pinkies all the way up to small barrel Bluefin! I honestly don’t think I’d find a better fit for the Trumpeter down here in Tas, it’s a pleasure to use.

Howk Hot Spot 150
Hot Spot series is a set of rods specifically for overhead Slow Jigging. The entire series incorporates spiral Fuji SIC rings to prevent torsion and twisting. Fitted with Fuji trigger reel seat for overhead reels. Brilliant to look at and sensational feel in these blanks. Sensitive tip section s with a responsive butt to load heavier jigs than usual for the rod class.
